We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Day at Grandma's house. Everyone contributed to a great feast. We also celebrated Grandpa's 85th Birthday!
Sleepy Guys! Turkey Cake! When we showed up with this, everyone was a little shocked, wondering why I had brought a turkey when I was asked to bring dessert!...especially since Grandma had prepared a beautiful roasted REAL turkey.
Yesterday, Chris went with a few of his Marines to the Tonight Show. He wasn't permitted to take pictures inside the studio, but he certainly couldn't miss Jay Leno's car! He had a great time, the entire studio audience was made up of U.S. service members. It airs tonight (Thanksgiving) with guest Lindsay Lohan.
We are kitty-sitting for Hannah while she and her family are in Arizona for Thanksgiving. Emily and Paige are having a blast playing with them...and the best part is that in a few days we give them back to Chrissy! All the fun and zero long-term responsibility!
Our little baby boy is 6 months old already. At his check up, he weighed in at 19 lbs 11 oz (75%-80%) and 28.5" (90%). He is doing well and had a couple more shots. He has now started on peas and will have green beans soon. He sits up well and no matter how hard I try to get him to sleep on his back, he always flips over and sleeps on his tummy.
Emily turns 6 on the 6th. Sarah turns 17 on the 17th. Nana turns 7 on the 7th! Ha ha :) The drool contest winner is clear! Paige loves watching Logan play video games. (chocolate cheesecake for Sarah...she'll get another cake for her birthday party with her friends)
