As per request...here are some photos of Jack pushing his car around. I thought this was cute too. Today when the phone rang, Jack pulled the phone down and tried to answer it. Good thing it was just a telemarketer!
The girls went to a Birthday Tea Party where "Mrs. Crumpet" dressed them all up (including make-up), then had a fashion show and sang "I'm a Little Tea Pot". Then they had finger foods and apple "tea".
Jack had his check up. He's doing great. He weighed in at 21 lbs. and was 29" long (70-75%). His growth has slowed...obviously from all the activity! His tear duct is still blocked and will get a consult from the opthamologist. His 6th tooth has broken through. Paige says he's a very brave boy because he didn't cry when they pricked his finger. He is crawling all over the place and pulling himself up to standing. He just started cruising. My favorite new thing he does is pushing his toy car around...because we all know how much his Daddy loves cars!
Emily and Papa went to the Father Daughter Dance at her school. It was 50's themed... Complete with root beer floats and bubble gum blowing contests. Emily loved the corsage Papa got for her.
Hi Daddy! Emily wanted to take a few pictures....here's what she captured.... Lots of Jack (he was a very agreeable subject)! Here's me uploading photos to this website. This is the mermaid that Emily painted at Clay & Paint. Yes, Emily even got a few shots of Paige.
If you run out of live subjects, I suppose a painting of some is a good substitute. And last, but not least, the famed photographer herself...Miss Em!
Today we went to Edward's Cinemas in San Marcos for a birthday party. The kids watched "Nanny McPhee" and a behind the scenes tour of the theater. They each got to take home a clipping of the the actual film.
Emily came home from school today wearing this..."This Valentine I'm giving you- Don't put it on the shelf! It's something you can hold and love, I'm giving you...MYSELF!" Hope everyone has had a wonderful Valentine's Day! Today is our last day with Chris before he sails away for 6 months! We're going to miss him very much!
Since Chris will be missing the upcoming Father/Daughter Dance at Emily's school, they went to a city sponsored dance. Emily enjoyed the chocolate fondue fountain and they both had fun learning how to swing dance!
