4 Month Check Up

Jack had his 4 month check-up today. You can see his Scooby-Do Band-aids on his legs from the shots. He weighed in at 17 lbs 11oz (95%) and was 26.5" long (90%) and his head measured average in the 55%. The pose in the photo is apparently a good sign of development...with his hands together. He has rolled over 4 times (from back to stomach) and grabs for things, but does not hold on to them very well yet (except for my hair!) and if he's wearing a shirt he'll grab the bottom an try to put it in his mouth. He babbles a lot and is right on track. I'm sure things will start getting exciting soon!

First Food

This is Jack enjoying (yes, enjoying, even though it doesn't look like it in the photo) his first food...organic rice cereal with breast milk.

Sunflower Girl

The song goes..."You're my sunflower girl, no one brightens the world, like Emily..." Emily was very excited to find a volunteer sunflower in the front yard!
