Update

Sorry it has been so long since the last post. We have been very busy lately. After Grandpa Jack's funeral, Laurel and John came to visit with us. They got in some great grandma and grandpa time with the kids. Then Chris got home on the 6th with some good news...he got accepted into the SNCO Degree Completion Program. There were 11 applicants selected for this program. He will be attending Cal State San Marcos to get his bachelor's degree in Psychology. So we will basically be living like civilians for 18 months. After he graduates, the plan is to move to Barstow where he will work at the Marine Logistics Base in "family services" for 3 years. Although these plans could change, we are probably going to have him home with us the whole time. So we have been busy integrating Chris back into our home life, getting organized for school (checking out of Chris' unit), and yesterday we had new flooring put in the living room. It has been a busy couple of weeks, but as school starts (and soccer for the girls) we will finally get into a routine. Of course...we'll keep you updated! :)
