Jack's 16 Month Update

It's been a while since his last update so...He's 24lbs & 32". His tear ducts seem to be completely fine now. He is really keeping us busy as he is running places now. He is not talking nearly as much as the girls did, only about 8 words (or sounds that are similar to words. He has gone #2 on the toilet 4 times (hey, its easier to flush than use all those wipes!) He loves his morning and afternoon walks to the girls' school. If left to his own devices he'd run off and never look back...a very independent little guy, so I keep him locked up in the stroller. He also still loves anything on wheels and keeping the floors clean with swiffers, brooms, etc. A true Mifflin-man. He has 3.5 molars, so Paige thinks he has actually lost teeth because of the spaces where his eye teeth are supposed to grow in. And the best part is that he is still very happy and silly, giggling all the time for no reason whatsoever that I can see. :)

I guess Daddy's shoe makes a great sleeping buddy

Mia's 2nd Birthday

Just Being Silly

The girls' first soccer games

They did great! Although nobody keeps score...Paige's team lost

2-3. Emily's team won 12-0. Yesterday, Emily's team won again 11-1. (Paige had a bye) Emily is showing great promise as the goal keeper.

Basic Dog Obedience Graduation

Cali is quite a good puppy. She knows all her basic commands and is very well behaved for being 5 months old.
We'll continue with training in a couple months (when soccer season is over). The husky is Kasha, Cali's best friend since Puppy Kindergarten.

Last of USS Ogden Photos

OK...I know these are a little old. I finally pulled the last of Chris' photos off his camera. These are from last month when he was on his way to Hawaii (and back home). They did a live fire exercise off the deck of the ship. This will probably be the last photos you'll see of Chris in a uniform for while as he has started going to CSUSM for 18 months.
