And Away We Go!

We had a pretty smooth journey. Our plane- a very nice, new, huge A380 Airbus- took off at 10:30pm. Qantas was quite an accommodating airline. We had two meals, snack, and a snack bar- complete with Cadbury hot chocolate. We had touchscreen TVs with remote controls and numerous movies (19 premier movies and countless others), tv channels, games, etc. There was even a camera mounted on the tail of the aircraft so we could have a bird's eye view. The kids had so much to do (including a kid's fun pack that was given to them) that they barely even touched their Nintendo games. It was good to reunite with Chris' family after the 13 hr flight. Grandma & Grandpa are happy to have all their grandkids in one place for once!
