Shelly Beach, Cronulla

Emily was really excited to go to the rock pools. The sand at Shelly beach was almost entirely made up of tiny bits of shells (but still soft enough to walk on)- an Emily paradise. We collected quite a few of the more interesting ones- although I thought the sand was interesting by itself. Of course the kids wanted to get in the water even though it was quite chilly. There were almost no waves. There was even a little blocked off area where we saw people swimming laps (in wetsuits).
