Nick's 30th Birthday Party and Family Get-Together

Nick's cake was a giant pumpkin pie cake (of course there were two regular pumpkin cakes too that Laurel made...along with cup cakes, caramel slice, lamingtons, jelly, rolls, spice cake, ice cream, etc...) And that's just dessert! There were sausage rolls, chicken wings, meatballs, and a million different kinds of yummy dips....none of them "diet" -unfortunately for my waistline.

Belinda and I usually avoid the photos, but Chris got us here...

There were over 60 people in this house yesterday...and "heaps" of good food. It was good to see everyone again- it's been 4 years. Since being here Emily has noticed that the people here talk like the people in her Harry Potter books. Saying things like, "I fancy a crumpet" (which Emily loves, btw) and "Take out the rubbish".
